Barcelona highlight game, example of your life.

I watched the highlights of the UEFA Champions League Day 1 match between FC Barcelona and Celtic FC. By the time I was watching, i already knew that the match ended 7:0 in favour of Barcelona.

However, after Barcelona had scored the first goal, Celtic had a penalty. Up stepped their most prolific striker who scored a hat trick over the weekend. He placed a shot to the left hand corner of the goal and the Barcelona goalkeeper, diving in the same direction, punched it away.

I saw the huge relief on the faces of the Barcelona defenders who hurriedly went to hug the goalkeeper for saving the penalty. They were obviously tensed when the penalty was to be taken but I was not. Why? They were playing the match then and were uncertain about the result, while I was watching the highlights and already knew the result.

Since the result was 7:0, it is either the Celtic prolific striker kicked the penalty over the bar, hit the post, or the goalkeeper saved it. This is the way life becomes when you discover destiny (THE SCRIPT)! No matter the challenges that come your way, you are relaxed, 'knowing the end from the beginning'.

No wonder God is never ruffled by any situation, HE knows the end from the beginning. No wonder Abraham staggered not... No wonder Job could 'wait' all through the trials (Job 14: 14) No wonder Jesus, 'for the joy that was set before HIM', endured the cross and despised the shame.

They all 'knew the end' either from 'the beginning' or from 'the middle'. They knew how it will all play out. They all knew THE SCRIPT, either in part or in full. A discovery / knowledge of THE SCRIPT surely guarantees REST. Have you discovered yours?

As a child of God, when temptations and trials come your way, you do not need to be worried, do you know why, because its an highlight to you, for God had already rescued you from that temptation and trials. Just like the example I sited about Barcelona.
