Jose Mourinho was left embarrassed by Manchester United's 4-0 whipping because of Chelsea in his arrival to Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Chelsea commanded from the get-run with Pedro scoring after only 30 seconds.
Objectives from Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante took after as Mourinho's first amusement against his previous club since being let go last season transformed into a fiasco and left his side seventh in the table.
Mourinho spent the greater part of the day with an acrid look all over while Chelsea manager Antonio Conte obviously delighted in what he was seeing.
The Italian even encouraged on the home team after Kante's goal, something Mourinho supposedly protested. Reports in Italian media said Mourinho told Conte at the last shriek "You shouldn't praise like that at 4-0.
You can do it at 1-0, generally it's mortifying for us." Conte denied doing anything incorrectly. "There was no episode, it was only an ordinary thing to do," he said. "I wasn't ridiculing anybody, I wouldn't do that.
"There were United fans who continued singing, while our own were peacefully after an awesome execution from my group. "I needed to call the group to extol the players, which appears to be sufficiently typical to me."
Mourinho wouldn't uncover his remarks in a post-coordinate TV meet just saying that his words "with Antonio Conte, were for him, not for you." Perhaps his words ought to have been with United's barrier, which contributed to each of the four objectives.
Pedro beat a reluctant Daley Blind and Chris Smalling to a long ball to score the opener while poor checking added to the objectives from Cahill and Hazard. Kante then waltzed through a large group of United players to convey the last blow.
Mourinho regretted the miscues yet demanded his group didn't play that seriously. "In the event that you can erase the guarded missteps from the amusement I would say it was a decent execution," he said. "In any case, we can't erase the slip-ups from the amusement and the primary misstep happened following 30 seconds.
"Everything turned out badly from moment one. After that, everything was against us in the amusement." Conte was clearly satisfied as his group climbed to fourth with a third straight win. "It's essential this kind of diversion against a group that is extremely solid like Manchester United as it builds our certainty," he said.
"They merit this sort of execution, this kind of win." Mourinho, in the interim, could just apologize. "To the a great many fans we have the world over they have a terrible feeling and I am so sad for that," he said.
"I need to apologize as the pioneer of the changing area and the main thing I can say is I'm 100 for each penny Man United, not 99 for each penny for Man United and 1 for each penny for Chelsea. "I feel profoundly the circumstance yet there is one and only reply, preparing tomorrow and continue battling."
