Governor of Awka, Willie Obiano of Anambra will on Wednesday in Awka, get FC Ifeanyi Ubah, the champions of The Federation's Cup competition, as the team sets out on triumph voyage through the state.
The Anambra Warriors had on Nov. 6, crushed Nasarawa United, to lift the Cup at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
The Special Assistant on Media, Ikechukwu Onyia, in an announcement on Tuesday, said the visit would start from Nnewi on Nov. 23 and through significant urban communities and groups of the state, as the group advances toward the stadium.
In the announcement , the administration of the club approached supporters and fans to turn out all at once in support of the successful group at the International Stadium.
"As a major aspect of the highlight of the visit, the senator will have the triumphant `Anambra Warriors' at the Government Lodge, Awka.
"We approach our dinners to turn out in their hundreds and in the shades of their sweetheart group, to praise the champions," he said.
