Earthquake shocks citizens in Italy. (Pics)

Not less than 22 individuals have been murdered and numerous more are dreaded dead after a "prophetically calamitous" 6.2 size seismic Earthquake struck Italy overnight. An eight-month-old infant, his nine year-old sibling and guardians are dreaded to have been among the dead in the wake of being covered by rubble as they rested.

At the course of the Earthquake, many structures fallen in the town of Amatrice – close to the well known traveler city of Perugia – catching scores of local people in the flotsam and jetsam.

A few other encompassing towns and towns were crushed by the shake.

Rescuers have reported listening to the voices of those caught underneath the rubble as the nearby chairman announced: "My town isn't here any longer."

The loss of life rose rapidly all through Wednesday morning as rescuers kept on pulling bodies from the rubble. The shake was so solid it could be felt in Rome - 100 miles away - and even similarly as Croatia.

Structures in the Italian capital shook for 20 seconds, as indicated by La Repubblica. The epicenter was in the Umbrian town of Norcia with the town of Accumoli likewise severely influenced.

More than 100 individuals remain unaccounted for in the town of Arquata del Tronto. Aleandro Petrucci, the chairman of close-by Arquata, said:

"It's a calamity. We are attempting to empty the town and move them to a games field. I've recently arrived and I have a craving for crying. I've never seen such a prophetically catastrophic scene aside from the L'Aquila seismic Earthquake on TV."
