THE HEART

  

                                                                         

The heart is described as a muscular organ that pumps blood through the body. Traditionally, it is thought to be the seat of emotion and sensibilities (love, hate, joy, grief, courage).

The heart is very vital in the life of every believer, or one who has surrendered his or her life wholly to CHRIST. This is so because from there springs the issues of life. The Bible says “keep your HEART with all diligence for out of it springs the issues of life” (Galatians 5:19-21).

Those who harbor these evil practices in their heart cannot inherit the kingdom of GOD. It is the Lord’s wish that we fill our hearts completely with good virtues; LOVE, HAPPINESS, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, etc.

Why do you still use your heart as a company for sin? Your heart was created by God almighty, he owns your heart, but some people have decided to sell their heart to the devil. Have you sat to ask yourself, “what will I gain for giving my heart to the devil?” do you know that when your heart is taken out, you cease to leave? The heart is like a generator.

It is high time we purged and circumcised our hearts unto God. “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8). What are you doing with your heart? Are you using it for a good purpose, or for bad purpose? God cannot dwell in the heart of an unbeliever, you need to keep your heart clean and pure.

It is not God’s wish that we should perish.

 When Jesus takes over your heart, he will rekindle your soul.
